in Budapest and Budakalász

Today was the Final of the entire project before! At first I was introduced to the Foundation founder Judith Schultheisz, I could inspect the premises. These had been made extremely beautiful with star lights on the ceiling and a water bed for therapies. I learned that painting the walls of the rooms of the parents of the children had been. I was just impressed yet how much effort went all to help these children.
Then we visited the hydrotherapy, which took place in-house swimming pool. There we found floating mothers and fathers with their children, all of which followed, singing a postgraduate training.
The staff of the Embassy of Switzerland: Urs Schmid, Florian Lanz and Dora arrived, and three journalists. Now quick answers and much camera grin were announced. In a gym were shaken with all hands, exchanged words of thanks and answered many, many questions. Then an aperitif with typical Hungarian pastry was served, the woman Schultheisz some even had baked.
All were dressed in suits or blouses and behaved as if I were a terribly important person. I really did not quite know how I would feel me.
were in the name of the Foundation brought me the greatest words of thanks contrary: It is not obvious that a young person as socially and connecting people to use. I was always welcome in the house Gezenguz alapítvány and they would also report back to me, what the money was used. As a symbol of the foundation Tonlicht me in the form of a drop was presented. This should be at a show that drops (drop eng.) is called in Hungarian and a little boy and the other it should represent the structure of the Foundation. After all, they had developed only gradually. The Ambassador Urs Schmid beat spontaneously in a pun as a bridge to my project by saying that yes, I too would drop my fashion by donations from house to house together.
As the hype and the interviews were over, I decided for now actually transfer the funds collected on the Foundation account. In the afternoon we visited
briefly the Buda part of the city with Babett Arki, for which I am very grateful.
is now my project in practical areas largely complete. I will keep the donation account, however, open until end of the year continued in the hope too many can motivate to support this great foundation with a further donation.
the example of little Anna, who four years ago, first came to the foundation, can hardly stand without, I could see myself, how helpful the therapy was for her. Today, they can already go shorter distances himself. Your handicap is genetic and therefore will accompany her whole life, but with targeted therapy and her own unexpected oral use, it has the hope of a future without a wheelchair.
For the rest of the day following will happen: We will (from about 100-150km east of Budapest) to fifth in the car to travel to my pen pal Jaszkiser Marta Fodor where we take a few days, the Hungarian Puszta and its rural charm in appearances.
in these regions is not guaranteed Internet, it is possible that I will complete the first part of a final in Switzerland. I would like to thank for the interest in my project all new friends in Hungary, the loyal readers in Switzerland and all interested parties that participated virtually in mind.
The media will form a final report in regional newspaper Wynental us if the mundanity holds its breath.

Travel Diary:

This morning I was standing very nervously , finally, was the first press conference for today announced. As we drove by car and bicycles from the charged Börcs 10 minutes to Györ, I became increasingly excited. Arriving at the Foundation, I was surprised how quickly reassured me the warm and beautifully designed interiors. Everything was very friendly, so the nice instructors. Soon we were asked for an investigation of a small boy. He is 1.5 years old and is still no weight on his legs. He also wanted to take toys out of a car, standing in front of a mirror, and he always took the mirror and did not understand why he could not see the mirror toys.
After two interviews has been done me the honor at the Foundation to perpetuate. With green color they painted my palm and pressed it against the wall. This gesture has touched me deeply.
My father was therefore started with the bike before us and I experienced my first day in the broom wagon. This was a good experience because I could not really understand before how unsatisfactory this part of the trip is. One is tight the entire time, while you get bored to death. Tense, since one waits for a call permanently, the biker, who reported to possibly a breakdown and bored because you often just spend hours waiting in a coffee shop until they appear again. Fortunately we were able to convince my mother that it urgently at this Hungarian Heat was necessary to bathe in the River Danube from the shallows. After some wanderings finally arriving later in the evening in Budakalász, we were welcomed by members of the Foundation very welcome. We immediately organized the assistant of the Foundation founder, Babette Arki, two giant pizzas and cold drinks. Even for us was a large-scale rooms have been provided with beds.

a comfortable stage, because yesterday we biked in Slovakia was still a few miles further than originally planned. In Rusovce we finally found a suitable accommodation. Our team sweep car picked us up in person from the Danube embankment, where many sports enthusiasts met skaters from Bratislava.
The next morning we were on our way to Hungary. Heading through small villages we passed suddenly from a typical grain fields draw well, which has become very rare. As a target, we put ourselves Gyor, for there I should have the first contact with the Foundation. Along the way, the man presented the Foundation Director in Gyor by phone. Spontaneously we were invited to their house. In the garden they prepared us a Hungarian real time we could enjoy in a friendly round. In a large pot over an open fire sizzled the specialty of "stew" while were prepared in the kitchen by her neighbor Katherine homemade Nokedli. One could imagine the whole thing like goulash (Voressen) with dumplings. When speaking of goulash in Hungary, however, you will get a soup. On this occasion, we told the hostess Monica, tomorrow should look like the program. Around noon, we had the opportunity to visit the Foundation in Györ. Press and local TV would arrive at about 11 clock in the foundation. We believed on Thursday to stay still in Gyor, on Friday to continue to ride to Budapest.
But Moni told us that we were expected on Thursday evening in the foundation already in Budapest and want to get the press together with the Swiss ambassador on Friday morning to contact us. So I had
now a temporal problem. On the one hand, and I wanted to fulfill my responsibility in Gyor, on the other hand, I should bring the remaining 160 km still on that tomorrow afternoon behind me. That did not work! So I chose the following variant: Actually, I had fulfilled my project with the cycling already! I've been kicking back with my down 1'258km donation brought the Foundation and now I was allowed to take the press tasks. Meanwhile, my father would continue to ride alone to Budapest. I believe all needs to be. We thank
again thank the family and Moni Istvan ("Don Esteban" J) Kovacs for their terrific hospitality and the loving welcome in Börcs.

Funny Sayings About Restaurants

Travel Diary:

After a somewhat restless night, for five people of different sleeping and sometimes snoring J a room, and a constantly durchratternden freight train, we awoke early. Since no one was really tired, we wrestled in the beds or reviewed the rest of the hotel, which was a huge construction site.
While my father and I start the wheels made it clear to my mother acted down the overnight rate, the shabby for such a Accommodation was too high. When they left the bright Inn, we were able to leave satisfied.
Soon we arrived in Vienna and then came to the Prater has facilities for which we realized how outdated it really worked. However, the large forest area with the road lining the
Kastanienallee impressed us greatly.
Leaving Vienna turned out to be a darn scavenger hunt. Every time we thought we had finally got the right cycle, we were after some distance but again somewhere between cabbage and turnips or better between cabbage and channel. The path towards the castle grove was lined with dead animals, I have seen in my entire life never seen a side of the road with so much death. In Hainburg we found from the fast and busy main road back to the bike path (this only thanks to the super cycle cards sponsored by the Wynabücherei Suter Reinach). At the border crossing we were met by an indifferent, Slovakian border guards held up quite ridiculous, because we would have had a stamp in the passport, what EU citizens (we are an Italian passport) was not common and was thus declared to be unnecessary. The road to Bratislava was a bit lengthy, we were chased from one end to the other box and then felt almost like the hare, which we had met.
finally arrived in a small town after beating the Slovakian capital, we are the hungry stomachs full and we felt like royalty, as the food is so extremely favorable. (Everything is counted by 20, so as to obtain Swiss francs.)
came to us here our room very princely, not compare with yesterday!

Travel Diary:

The newspapers had actually prophesied that there would be a gloomy Monday. Despite everything we hoped it would come but different. But the drumming of the rain and the gray on gray of the sky are not just cast out of bed. For family
Kremser expected us an almost imperial breakfast. They made their environment (Niebelungengau / Wachau ð near Vienna) credit.
Our faces brightened by degrees and the sky would suddenly emit a race. This was really a surprise. We quickly adopted
us and the most attractive part of the section of the Danube were under our wheels. Past dreamy wine villages, apricot and peach trees and never ending vineyards we reached Krems. An interesting little town where we strolled to the art district and ate our sandwiches in a cozy park.
The sequel was then not quite so exciting. We pedalten for miles along the Danube embankment, which was lined with an endless riparian forest. Only the final stage of our Papis drove adrenaline again in the air.
the station of St. Andrä I found him at one time not because he forgot himself looked for the way Greifenstein!
ado, I tried it myself on the way to our accommodation (hotel brown bear). Once there I called a "foaming" father. Furious because I had not been reported over the mobile phone, he pedalte direction Greifenstein. But we could not believe our eyes. Suddenly, a text message that he saw while the "brown bear", but a river is in between. In the heat of battle and a dog who would bite him in the calf, he had probably caught the wrong turn! After all these Random walks, we were still able to take even the dinner together.
