Friedemann Bach on the 300th Birthday
As the eldest son of a famous father at 22.11. Born in 1710 wound themselves around this creek son always very many assumptions, stories and secrets. By the father rooted in the Baroque but of changing times and changing taste in music alive today it is considered to be particularly exciting life and work.
A journey through his youth in Leipzig, and stories about the other stages of his eventful life by imaginative and surprising compositions that accompanied his time highly esteemed composer, organist and harpsichordist. Highlights are then two sonatas for flute and the harpsichord were discovered only recently in the Berlin State Library.
His last 10 years of life Wilhelm Friedemann Bach spent in Berlin and there are about his life to report here a lot. It is also interesting is the situation at the time of musicians and composers in Berlin to highlight - but WF Bach was one of the first who tried without a steady job in this city related to his livelihood.
